As leader training comes to its end, the leader must carefully decide about the graduating trainees. The trainees who will not be delegated as small group leader should be connected with ministries appropriate for their gifts and personal aptitudes.
The trainees must be sorted in the following manner.
1. Who will be dispatched as small group leaders?
2. Who dropped out in the middle? (Record the reasons for their withdrawal)
3. Who are the trainees that will not be dispatched as small group leaders upon completing leadership training?
4. What are some of the ministries suitable for those trainees to serve instead of being dispatched as small group leaders?
Sometimes, there are trainees who have the gift of small group leader but refuse to become one saying that they do not have the gift. Then there are trainees who lack the gift of small group leaders and thus will be better off in serving in other ministry areas but persist in becoming small group leaders. In such cases, the pastor in charge should counsel them and guide them to a right path. The pastor must take care not to hurt any trainee in the process.
The criteria for selecting trainees to be delegated as small group leaders:
1. Evaluation by the trainees leader training pastor or leader
2. Consideration of each trainees individual outcome of the training, character, personality, sociability, and gifts
3. Opinion of the trainee him/herself
